Fueling For a Good Week

In case you weren’t aware, it’s Monday.
Mondays are for to-do lists, working out, a little adventure, and setting the week up for success.
I’ve found that if i’m actually going to get all of the things done I have to start off my day fueled properly. I’m trying to start healthy habits and getting up, stretching, and having a protein packed breakfast is one of them. My go-to breakfast this past week has been really simple and really filling: greek yogurt, cinnamon, chia seeds, some honey and granola, and then I break a BHU protein bar into tiny pieces and put it on top.

I once heard the saying “never miss a Monday” and since then i’ve integrated it into my lifestyle. I do my very best to not miss a Monday workout; cardio + weights/abs are a MUST to start my week off on the right path. I also need some legit protein packed food to get me through some of the workouts I do. This vanilla almond cashew bar is like having dessert for breakfast, seriously, it’s that good! Eddie & I joke that I am becoming more and more of a hippie and I am really trying to eat clean/raw foods as much as possible and when I buy pre-packaged foods I want them to be full of organic and REAL food. BHU are legit organic protein bars full of delicious goodness – and I have been keeping at least one in my car/purse every day in case I crash and need some extra fuel. If you’re like me and always looking for another good (and good-for-you) protein bar I highly recommend these!
