photography | over cast days and loving families

some of my favorite days for photography are the overcast and chilly ones.
the lighting is soft and forgiving – and you’re not sweating like crazy.
and when you have a family whose love completely shines through their eyes, smiles, and words – it make snapping pictures easy.

this is paola + her family; i took pictures when their sweet little girl was super young – and it was so much fun to see them again and snap some new family portraits with their son. we took about an hour to stroll around waterfront park and a few side streets to catch up and snap away. i fell in LOVE with their new york – chic apparel, i mean, all black – SO CLASSIC and so lovely in photos!

Paola inspires me – her and her family are constantly trying new things with organic & holistic living. with each month that passes – and every organic magazine i get my hands on – i’m seeing the benefits more and more. what about you? are you pro-organic living – or even just pro slightly-organic living? i would love to hear your thoughts.

now, onto the images…

a love photography
